February 15, 2015: First Time in Chicago!
Hi Diary. It's me, Peater the Green Pea Cookie.
Today I felt the cold for the first time in my life. I'm not talking about a cool breeze, diary, or the chilly feeling you get after you get out of the oven. I'm talking heavy, poky air. It's like air in a bad mood, I think. Except Rissy loves it a little bit, even though she and Fiona were sprinting from building to building in misery. So there must be something sapeasfying that I will grow to love, too. It might just be her though.
But I saw snow! I think that might be the sapeasfying part. It makes rolling around extra fun because you smush it and then it gets slide-y and you can ice-skate.
We're in Chicago for Peasident's day weekend. I am feeling so peatriotic for America. I peadged allegiance to the flag and everything.
We also found some pennies and made some wishes in the Chicago River. Except the issue was that I had so many wishes, and I got flustered and I ended up falling into the river. It's fine, though, diary, because I met a happea duck down there. That wasn't even one of my wishes, but it just came up out of the blue and made the day great anyway. I think that's how it usually works.
Lots of love and more soon,
